BE / B. Tech-Electrical + Primavera P6/MS Project, knowledge/exposure on ProEst, RSMeans, and CostX would be advantageous. 15 to 20 years of Techno-commercial experience in estimation/tendering of HV & EHV Electrical Projects Comprising Electrical Power plant/Substation Projects. Networking skills coupled with innovative approach and conceptual ability are essential traits for this position. Key Responsibilities • Review of enquiry document, scope of work, project specifications and other contract documents. Preparation/ Compilation of material take- off based on drawings, data- sheets, basic design, standards etc. • Prepare Cost estimation of project compiling the cost of Materials, Manpower, Equipment, Subcontracts, Overheads etc. required for the execution of the project. • Liaise with Engineering Consultants for the pre-bid engineering works including material take-off, specification, Engineering Man hours, Method statements etc. • Liaise with procurement department for the material / equipment / subcontract prices. • Present Bid review package, which includes bid basis, execution plan, strategy analysis, summary cost estimates and financial reports, ensuring Senior Management is provided with all necessary information to enable competitive pricing decisions. • Maintain good relationships with the client, consultant and develop a professional team to establish the company as the contractor of choice.
